Refund and Returns Policy
At The Klay State, every product is handmade with care and attention to detail. Due to the handmade nature of our products, slight variations may occur and are considered part of the uniqueness of each piece. Please read our policy carefully before placing an order.
1. Returns
We currently do not accept returns on any products.
As all items are handmade and made in limited quantities, returns will not be accepted for:
change of mind, personal preference, slight handmade variations, minor imperfections natural to handmade products, incorrect handling after delivery.
2. Refund Policy
Refunds are generally not available.
Refunds will only be considered if: the product arrives severely damaged from our end, and a replacement is not possible or unavailable.
Approved refunds, if applicable, will be processed to the original payment method.
3. Replacements
Replacements may only be considered if:
the wrong item has been sent, or the product arrives severely damaged.
To request a replacement, customers must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with: clear photos/videos of the product, packaging images, and order details.
Replacement requests are subject to review and approval.
4. Customized Products
Customized or personalized products:
cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded unless received severely damaged and replacement is unavailable.
Please double-check all customization details before placing your order.
5. Handmade Product Disclaimer
Since all products are handmade slight differences in color, shape, texture, or detailing may occur, no two pieces will look exactly identical.These are not considered defects.
6. Product Care & Durability
Our products are delicate handmade clay creations and should be handled with care.
We do not guarantee: complete waterproofing, resistance to rough handling, long-term resistance to rust or tarnishing of metal parts.
Damage caused by: water exposure, heat, direct sunlight, accidental drops,or improper handlingwill not qualify for replacement or refund.
7. Shipping Responsibility
Once an order has been dispatched: delivery delays caused by courier services are not our responsibility, transit handling is managed by third-party shipping providers.
However, customers may still contact us regarding major issues and we will try our best to assist wherever possible.
